01Your account

You must be 18 or older. One account per person.

Keep your sign in to yourself. What is made with your account is your responsibility.

By using MelodyReel you agree to these terms, an agreement between you and MelodyReel, and to our Privacy policy.

02Your photos

The face in every photo you add must be yours, or you must have that person's permission. We do not match faces; this promise, and the report route below, protect the person shown.

• No photos of someone who has died, unless you hold the right to use their likeness.
• No lookalike of a real person, famous or not, and no celebrity or politician.
• No video made to harass or degrade anyone.

A cartoon, doll, statue or pet may be used, but results are not guaranteed. You can also make a video with no person in it.

For head to feet shots from a photo that ends at the knees or thighs, the app makes the rest of the figure. It is not your real body.

03Your songs

You must own your song, or have the rights to use it this way, including in a video you may post.

• No famous artist's recording synced to your face without the rights.
• No real person's speech used as the song, such as a voice note or a politician's speech.

04What you may make

You are responsible for what you ask for: your song and its words, and any clothes or place pictures you add.

We refuse, before any credit is used: nudity and sexual content; hate symbols, slurs, hate speech and extremism; gore; and real weapons aimed at people.

Explicit language and adult or violent themes in music are allowed.

Real police or military insignia, costumes imitating a real person, and brand logos in your pictures are your responsibility.

05Credits and payment

• You pay with credits. One credit makes one second of video. The credits a video will use are shown before anything is charged.
• There is no subscription, and credits never expire. They stay on your account and come back when you sign in on another phone.
• The free preview clip: two tries per account, one free clip per verified account and device.
• Changing a shot because you want it different costs 5 credits. A shot that came back wrong is fixed free, one fix per shot and three per video.
• If you cancel while a video is being made, you pay only for the shots already finished, at least 1 credit, and the rest comes back. The numbers are shown before you confirm.
• If Apple or Google refunds a purchase, the unspent credits from it are removed, never taking your balance below zero.

Apple or Google takes every payment. Refunds of money are handled by them, under their rules.

06Failed videos

If a video fails, or takes longer than an hour, its credits come back automatically.

If a shot cannot be made as planned, it may be delivered in a plainer form: a simpler framing, you without lip sync, or a slow move on a still picture. A video with more than two such shots, or with less than half of its singing lip synced, is not delivered and its credits come back.

If a finished video comes out wrong, tell us from that video within 48 hours. If the face is not yours, the look changes between shots, a shot falls apart, the cuts miss the beat, or it is the wrong length, we remake it or return your credits. A video that is right but not to your taste is not covered.

07Your music videos

The video you paid for is yours: post it, sell it, do what you like with it. The rights to the song in it are yours to hold, as above.

Your song stays yours. We keep a copy of your video for as long as you have an account, and what a claim needs while it is open.

We never post anything for you.

08AI labels

Paid videos have no visible watermark. Every video carries an invisible label that says it was made with AI, and Google adds its own invisible mark (SynthID) that cannot be removed.

If a platform labels your video as AI, that is between you and the platform.

09Reports and takedowns

Anyone can report a video of themselves and ask for it to be deleted, with or without an account, using the code on the video. We act on every report.

Song owners can send a copyright notice to admin@melodyreel.com. Include the work you own, the code or link of the video, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed, that your notice is accurate, and that you own the rights or act for the owner. We remove what the notice covers, and accounts that repeatedly break copyright are closed.

10Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email. What goes and what stays is in our Privacy policy.

We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we do, unused paid credits are handled as the law requires.

11Liability and disputes

We work hard to make MelodyReel reliable, but the app is provided as it is, and we cannot promise every video will match what you pictured. What we do promise about failed and wrong videos is set out above.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income or opportunities, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, write to us first and we will try to put it right.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, the app tells you before it applies, and the date at the top of this page changes.
